Standard Workflow

Modules:

Spray->Harvest->Storage->Packing->Shipping

 

Spray:

  1. Login to Croptracker.

  2. Navigate to the Spray drop-down and click on Record Spray.

  3. Filling out a Spray:

    1. If you have a Saved Treatment, select one to populate chemicals, sprayers, and target pests for this spray. To create a saved treatment, see How to Create a Treatment Template.

    2. You will be taken to the Add Spray Screen. Enter at least the Spray Date Start and Spray Date End and Weather information and optionally select the Reason for SprayGrowth Stage, and Target Pest if applicable, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Next.

    3. Select areas to apply this treatment too. Select blocks using the map or the Select Area(s) by Farm/Block and Select Area(s) by Variety selection (if present). When you have selected your areas you can proceed by clicking the Next button.

    4. Select the Trade Name, then add the Amount and, Output Rate of each chemical in your tank mix.

    5. Either select a Pre-Calibrated Sprayer from your Equipment List or manually enter the Total Sprayer Output Rate, Tank Size, and Sprayer Calibration Date and select the Method of Application. Afterward, you can enter the Responsible Person and (if applicable) the Responsible Persons’ license.

    6. Choose whether to receive notification emails when the Pre-Harvest Interval and Re-Entry Interval have passed. See PHI/REI (Pre-Harvest Interval/Re-Entry Interval) for more information.

    7. Confirm the Chemical Amounts per block, and the Number of Tanks if you used a pre-calibrated sprayer. Add any Comments and Notes and click the Save button.


 

Harvest:

  1. Log in to the Mobile App on your compatible Android or iOS device

  2. Tap the Harvest option from the list.

  3. Tap the + button at the top of your screen this button will create a new Harvest event.

  4. Once you are in the blank Harvest event, fill in the Start Date for the event to change the date if required. You can optionally set an End Date.

  5. Next under the What menu, select Title and enter the event title.

  6. Select the blocks you are harvesting by tapping the blocks category, underneath Where. If a block has not been selected it will say Please choose on the right side. This will take you to the list of blocks that you have created.

  7. Next you will be prompted to add inputs. You can select Continue to Inputs at the bottom of the screen.

  8. Once you select Continue to Inputs, the app will take you to the inputs screen. Select Add Input at the bottom.

  9. Next you will record your inputs. In this example we will be harvest one bin at a time. Once you have filled out the necessary information select the back arrow at the top left.

  10. You will then see the list of inputs. If we select Add Input again, the system will remember the last unit that we created, we can simply repeat the process by selecting the prompt.

  1. After you have created inventory, you can print tags for those new bins by selecting the ellipses beside the bin and selecting ‘Print Label’. You must be using a mobile printer to print from the app.


Storage:

  1. Login to your Croptracker account on the app.

  2. Select ‘Storage’ from the Dashboard.

  3. A list of current storage events will appear on this screen. Tap on any event to edit or add to it. Tap the '+' Plus button in the top right corner to create a new event.

  4. Optionally, tap on ‘Details’ to edit or change the details of the event including title, categories and comments.

  1. Under ‘Rooms’, tap ‘Add Room’.

  2. Select the Rooms being used for Storage in this event and tap the back arrow when done. Locations can be filtered by name using the bar at the top.

  3. Tap on the appropriate Room on the event page to begin scanning inventory.

  4. From the Room screen, tap on the camera icon in the top right corner to begin scanning inventory tags.

  5. Point the camera at the tag of the inventory you are storing to add it to the room.

  1. Continue to scan/add inventory to this room as needed.

  2. Tap the back arrow to return to the event screen. From here you can select different rooms to add inventory to as needed or return to the list of storage events.


Packing:

You will need to set up your beforehand(one time set up):

  1. Login to the Croptracker app

  2. Navigate to Packing

  3. Create a new Packing event

    1. Optionally enter a Pack Lot # - Will automatically generate one if left blank

    2. Select your Product(s) - How the pallets will be configured

    3. Optionally select a Packing Location

    4. Press Save

  4. Press the down arrow next to the event you just created

    1. Select List Event Inputs

      1. Press the scan button in the top right next to the plus

      2. Scan all the inventory that is going to be packed

        1. You will be brought to the “edit packing input” screen you don't need to change anything just press save (Repeat until you are done with all inventory)

      3. When done press the Back button

This is where the mobile ends and someone else with access to packing will log into Croptracker on the desktop

  1. Login to Croptracker on the desktop

  2. Find the packing event that was made on the app

    1. You can find them in the list of events or you can filter for packing events on the left side or type in the lot number of the event

    2. Press the down arrow next to the packing event and select “Pallets”

    3. On the Packing Output screen here is where you will make pallets.

      1. Press the “+ Add Pallets” button

        1. If you selected multiple products at the start of the event you can open up the products list and select the configuration of the pallet you are making.

        2. Enter the number of units that will be on the pallet

        3. If the unit per pallet is different from the total units you will need to change the number if not leave it as is.

        4. If you are making multiple pallets you also have the option to make more than one at a time if the configuration (product) is the same. Change the 1 in “number of pallets” to reflect how many pallets you would like to make.

        5. Optionally you can enter a pallet weight and weight unit

        6. Select the supplier

        7. Optionally you can change the lot no.

        8. Select the label style (will be pallet tag default by default)

        9. Optionally you can select a pallet type

        10. Optionally you can add any notes about these pallets

        11. Click “save & print” to print off the pallet tags - Attach Pallet tags to pallets

        12. Optionally if you would like to print master tags (tags for each of the units on the pallet) press Save & Print Master tags.


Shipping:

App:

  1. Login to the Croptracker app

  2. Navigate to Shipping - Offline Beta

  3. Create a new Shipping event

    1. Press Details at the top

    2. Optionally enter a Waybill No. if applicable

    3. Optionally select a Responsible Person, Carrier, Truck, Trailer, Shipping Location, and Loading Bay

    4. Optionally select a Customer and Destination. When a Customer is selected the Destination list is limited to addresses belonging to the select Customer. See Cómo Agregar Direcciones de Contacto for more information.

    5. Optionally select a Temperature Type and enter a Low Temperature and High Temperature if applicable.

    6. Optionally enter any relevant Notes or Comments.

  4. Press Load at the top

  5. Press All Inventory

  6. Press the Blue Camera Button

    1. You will be prompted to scan a Tag - Scan the pallets you will be shipping off

  7. Press the back button until back on the shipping events dashboard

    1. Press the three dots beside the event you created and press Ship

This is where the mobile ends and someone else with access to Shipping will log into Croptracker on the desktop

Browser:

  1. Login to Croptracker on the desktop

  2. Find the Shipping event that was made on the app

    1. You can just find them in the list of events or you can filter for shipping events on the left side or type in the event number

    2. Click edit beside the shipping event

  3. Once you are in the shipping event you will have the option to cancel the shipment and make edits to the form or have the option to print off the waybill.

    1. Click Print

    2. Select Print Waybill

    3. The waybill will contain information about what was loaded into the shipping event and which bins were loaded.
