Activity Categories

This guide will describe how to add activity categories that can be used to group your work logs by category.Ā
You can add a category to work logs to group them with custom tags - for example, if you will be harvesting for export, you can create an export activity category to tag all your harvest work logs for export.Ā

In the example below we will create a category called "Harvest Export" that we can apply to work logs that are for workers harvesting inventory that is to be exported.Ā
Step-by-step guide:
From theĀ DashboardĀ navigate toĀ Farm ManagerĀ ā Categories

Click on the blueĀ Add CategoryĀ button in the top right corner of the screen

Give the category aĀ NameĀ and optionalĀ Description, and make sure the category type is set toĀ Activity. Only categories with theĀ ActivityĀ type can be attached to work logs. In this example we created the category Harvest Export.
ClickĀ Save
Your activity category can now be selected when creating a work log. In this example we selected the category Harvest Export.
