How to Record Shipping

This document contains a how-to step-by-step guide on how to record a shipping event. You will need the Shipping module to access this feature.

Shipping events require available inventory to ship. Inventory (raw or packed) can be created in:

Quick Guide:

  1. Log into Croptracker via the Web

  2. From the Dashboard press the New Shipment button or press on the Shipping dropdown menu and select Record Shipment.

  1. Fill out the following fields:

    1. Shipping Date

    2. Carrier

    3. Truck

    4. Trailer

    5. Customer

    6. Destination

  1. Available - All inventory you’ve made will be displayed here use the filters to find the exact Product or Inventory you are looking to ship

    1. Once ready to load click on the 3 dots next to the inventory and select Load Pallet / Load Inventory

  1. You will see the inventory be populated into the Loaded section this means it is on the truck ready to ship.

  1. Once ready to ship press Save and Ship Load


Detailed Event:

  1. Log into Croptracker via the Web

  2. From the Dashboard press the New Shipment button or press on the Shipping dropdown menu and select Record Shipment.

  3. Fill out the following data fields:

    1. Event Title

    2. Shipping Date

    3. Checkout Date

    4. Waybill No.

    5. Responsible Person (Shipping)

    6. Carrier

    7. Truck

    8. Trailer

    9. Shipping Location

    10. Loading-bay

    11. Customer

    12. Destination

    13. Temperature Type

    14. Low Temperature

    15. High Temperature

    16. Notes

    17. Comments

    18. Show/Hide Advance

      1. Inspection Passed

      2. Vehicle is Covered

      3. Corrective Action Required

  4. Click the Save button.

  5. To load and ship pallets see How to Ship Pallets.

  7. Click the Save and Ship Load to mark this event as shipped.

  8. Click Print Waybill to print the waybill for this shipping event. See Shipping Waybill for more information.
