If a pallet is already linked to a consignment sale or sales order and you want to ship against that transaction then you can skip to Load Pallets Against Transaction. The transaction will be linked to the shipment when the pallet is loaded.

Step-By-Step Guide

From a Shipping Event

  1. Create a consignment sale or sales order. See How to Create a Consignment Sale and How to Create a Sales Order for more information.

  2. Create a shipping event. See How to Record Shipping for more information.

  3. Under the Loaded lane heading is a table listing transactions that are connected to this event. Click the + Add Transaction button to add a new entry.

  4. Select the Transaction you want to ship against. You can ship against more than one transaction per shipment.

  5. Enter a Reference Number, Appointment Date, Confirmation Number, Temp. Sensor Type and Temp. Sensor Reference No. if applicable.

From a Transaction

  1. Create a consignment sale or sales order. See How to Create a Consignment Sale and How to Create a Sales Order for more information.

  2. Click the Save & Ship button. This will automatically create a shipping event with the new transaction already linked and redirect you to it.

  3. Enter a Reference Number, Appointment Date, Confirmation Number, Temp. Sensor Type and Temp. Sensor Reference No. if applicable.

Load Pallets Against Transaction

  1. Under the Loaded lane check the checkbox next to the Transaction you want to load pallets against. If no transaction is selected and the pallet is linked to a consignment sale or sales order then the pallet's transaction will automatically be linked to the shipping event upon loading.

  2. With the transaction selected any pallets loaded on to this shipment will be shipped against the selected transaction. See How to Ship Pallets for more information.

  3. Confirm the transaction is assigned to these pallets in the Loaded lane. The transaction will appear under pallets that are loaded against the transaction. If the pallets do not display the correct transaction in the Loaded lane click the Edit Pallets button to adjust the transaction.

  4. When you have finished loading all of your pallets click the Save and Ship Load button.

  5. If any of the transactions linked to this event were linked to another Croptracker user then a corresponding receiving event will be generated with a copy of the associated pallets. See How to Create a Linked Transaction for more information.

  6. Click the Print Waybill to print the shipping waybill for this load.

  7. For linked transactions confirm a Receipt No. is present on the waybill. This is the reference number for the receiver to look up in their Croptracker account.
