How to Add a Chemical

The step-by-step guide describes how to add a chemical for use in Spray events. You will need the Spray module to access this feature.

This chemical will be added to your user account and will not appear under Country List Chemical subscription.

To add a common chemical that you will recommend to be in the subscription list please contact support@croptracker.com

Step-By-Step Guide 

  1. From the dashboard, open the Farm Manager drop-down menu and select Chemicals from the list.

  2. This page lists all of the chemicals you have access to. From this page, click the + Add New Chemical button.

  1. Fill out the following sections:

    1. Basic Information

    2. Chemical Details

    3. Chemical Ingredients

      1. Select the chemical ingredients and enter the Guaranteed Active % this will affect certain reports.

    4. Chemical Information

    5. Organic / Restricted Chemical Information (Optional)

    6. Crop PHI/REI information

      1. The PHI/REI information can be added at the bottom of the Edit screen. Click Show / Hide to display the PHI/REI information for each crop type associated with the chemical. Enter the PHI in terms of days and REI in terms of hours. The Maximum Number of Applications per Season can also be added here.

        If you need to specify a different REI for specific activities, click the button labelled Show / Hide Other Re-Entry Intervals. Each activity’s REI restriction can be entered here in terms of hours

         

  2. Click the add button when you are done filling in the chemical information.
