How to Create a New Version of a Chemical
This step-by-step guide describes how to create a new version of a chemical.
This is sometimes required due to a change to the chemical's label. A chemical may change its safety requirements, and this needs to be reflected in the system while still maintaining the adherence to older safety requirements. Therefore rather than updating the chemical we create a new version of the chemical.
You will need the Spray module to access this feature.

 Instructions
From the Farm Manager menu select the Chemicals option.

From the Chemical List find the chemical you would like to create your own version of and click the View button.

On the chemical, viewing screen click the Create My Own Version button.
Â
After clicking Create My Own Version you'll be presented with the chemical editor. Make any necessary changes and click the Add button. You will now have an independent copy of the chemical in your system with your changes applied.
