How to Add a Weather Station
This step-by-step guide describes how to add a Weather Station to the system.
Weather Stations receive data from Data Providers using the station's MAC Address. See How to Add a Data Provider for more information on Data Providers.
Step-by-step guide
- Under the Farm Manager menu select Remote Stations.
- Click Add Remote Station.
- Enter the Name of the station and select the station Type.
Enter the Node MAC Address. If the station type is a hub, you can also enter a Hub MAC Address. This can be the same as the node MAC address.
The Node MAC Address ties the weather station to a data provider.
- Enter a Description and click Save.
- You will be taken back to the Remote Stations page.
Step-by-step guide to add inputs
To track specific columns of data you can add inputs to remote stations.
