Packing Input Queue Auto Balance

This step-by-step guide describes how to use theĀ Packing Input Queue'sĀ automatic queue sorting feature.

Raw inventory is sorted in the Packing Input QueueĀ based on itsĀ Tracking Codes.

Balance Sort

The balance sort option will look at the total number of items for each tracking code. The items will then be sorted into this distribution.

Example:

Would give us a ratio of 5:3:1 and sort accordingly:

  • 5 items ofĀ 02OCT2017-ARLET

1:1 Sort

The 1:1 sort option will force a one-to-one distribution of each Tracking Codes. Remainder items are added at the end of the queue.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Navigate to the Packing Input Queue, seeĀ How to Add Packing Inputs - Packing Input Queue for more information.
  2. Under the Queued Inventory lane click the Auto Balance Sort Queue button for an balanced distribution of raw inventory.
  3. For a one-to-one distributionĀ of all queued inventory click the drop-down next to theĀ Auto Balance Sort QueueĀ button and select the Auto 1:1 Sort Queue button.
