How to Pack a Pallet
This step-by-step guide describes how to create a pallet from a packing event.
Step-By-Step Guide
To create pallets you must first create a packing event and optionally add packing inputs via the Packing Input Queue. See How to Record Packing and How to Add Packing Inputs - Packing Input Queue for more information.
Navigate to the Packing Ouput page by clicking the Proceed to Pallets button on the Packing Input Queue page or by navigating to the Dashboard, next to the packing event open the drop-down, and click the Pallets button.
To pack pallets against a transaction click the +Â Add Transaction button. If you selected a transaction when setting up the packing event it will already exist in this table.
If you have a transaction selected you can add pallets for each line by clicking the + Add Pallets button on the right-hand side of the line. This will open the Pallet Modal. If the selected transaction does not have any line items you cannot add pallets to the transaction. See How to Add Transaction Line Items for more information.
To create pallets without a transaction make sure no transaction is selected and click the + Add Pallets button. This will open the Pallet Modal.
Complete the Pallet Modal and click the Save button. See How to Create a Pallet for more information on creating a pallet.
Once you have created all of your pallets for this packing event click the Done button.
