How to Add Packing Inputs - Packing Input Queue

This step-by-step guide describes how to add inputs to a packing event via the Packing Input Queue.

Navigate to the Packing Input Queue page by selecting a packing event on the dashboard, click the drop-down next to the event, and select the Input Queue option.

The packing input queue allows you to queue and/or pack raw inventory into a packing event.

On this page you should see three vertical lanes: Available Inventory, Queued Inventory, and Packed Inventory.

  1. Available Inventory

    1. This list includes all inventory you have recorded in Croptracker that is available to be packed (harvested, received, and stored) and has not been packed already.

    2. This list does not include packed inventory (pallets). To re-pack pallets see How to Record Repacking.

    3. This list does not include raw inventory that is queued in other packing events. To quickly un-queue raw inventory in all other events click the Flush All Queues button.

  2. Queued Inventory

    1. This list includes all inventory that is queued for packing in this event.

    2. Raw inventory in this lane can be re-ordered before packing to optimize the packing line.

    3. For automatic sorting of the Queued Inventory lane see Packing Input Queue Auto Balance for more information.

  3. Packed Inventory

    1. This list includes all inventory that has been packed in this event.

Each vertical lane may show a list of raw inventory items. If no raw inventory meets the criteria above the message "No inventory found." will be shown. Each item represents one or more harvest containers recorded in either a Harvest or Receiving event.
