Harvest Workflow: Piecework & Pre-Printing

This article will go over a popular harvest workflow. This workflow involves you paying piecework and printing your harvest tags before harvest.

To be able to use this workflow you will need the following modules: Harvest& Punch Clock

Instructions:

Browser:

  1. Log into the Croptracker App on your desktop browser

  2. Print the respective Harvest Tag Set you will be using for harvest.

App:

  1. Log into the Croptracker app on your mobile device.

You will want the following preferences turned on for this workflow:

Swipe right from the app dashboard → Press on Preferences → Press on Harvest → Press on Harvest Scan Code → Select Croptracker Harvest Tag Set - Camera:

This will allow you to scan the Harvest Tag Set you printed beforehand.

  1. Make a Harvest event - How to Record a Harvest - Mobile App

  2. Press on the work logs tab and punch your employees into the blocks they will be working in.

  1. Press on the inputs tab

    1. Press the green “Add Input” button

    2. You will be prompted to scan the Harvest Tag Set you printed off.

  2. Once you have scanned the label in you will see the employees you punched in beforehand under the “Select Available Pickers” press on the employee who harvest this input and they will be tied to the harvest input. If you would like to change who harvested this input simply press on the name and select someone else

  3. Press the back button and you will be brought back to the inputs screen continue to make inputs until you are done with the harvest.

  2. Once you have set up your preferences to start scanning employee badges, when you go to make an input it will prompt you to scan both the Harvest Tag and Employee badge.

  3. Once you are done with the harvest head back to the Worklogs tab and punch out your employees.
