Harvest Workflow: Piecework & Post-Printing

This article will go over a popular harvest workflow. This workflow involves you paying piecework and printing your harvest tags during/after harvest.

To be able to use this workflow you will need the following modules: Harvest& Punch Clock

Before starting with this workflow you will want to checkout the following articles for setting your account to be able to use this workflow optimally.

Instructions:

  1. Log into the Croptracker App on your mobile device

  2. Make a Harvest event - How to Record a Harvest - Mobile App

  3. Press on the work logs tab and punch your employees into the blocks they will be working in.

Once you made your harvest event and punched in your employees you will be prompted to start making your harvest inputs. Depending if you would like to scan your employees' badge to attach them to a bin or if you would rather just manually attach them to a bin you can skip to step 8 for scanning employee badges.

  1. Press on the inputs tab

    1. Press the green “Add Input” button

    2. Fill in the following information

      1. Volume - What the employee will be harvesting into

      2. Piece Rate - What the employee will be paid for harvesting this unit

      3. Label Format - What format you would like the label to look like

      4. Mobile Printer - What printer you will be using to print the labels

  1. Once you have filled in that information you will see the employees you punched in beforehand under the “Select Available Pickers” press on the employee who harvest this input and they will be tied to the harvest input. If you would like to change who harvested this input simply press on the name and select someone else

  2. Press on the printer icon in the top right and that will print out the label.

  3. Press the back button and you will be brought back to the inputs screen continue to make inputs until you are done with the harvest.

  2. Once you are done with the harvest head back to the Worklogs tab and punch out your employees.
