Packing Input Queue Auto Balance
This step-by-step guide describes how to use the Packing Input Queue's automatic queue sorting feature.
Raw inventory is sorted in the Packing Input Queue based on its Tracking Codes.
Balance Sort
The balance sort option will look at the total number of items for each tracking code. The items will then be sorted into this distribution.
Example:
Tracking Code | Count |
---|---|
02OCT2017-ARLET | 20 |
01OCT2017-ARLET | 12 |
30SEP2017-ARLET | 4 |
Would give us a ratio of 5:3:1 and sort accordingly:
- 5 items of 02OCT2017-ARLET
- 3 items of 01OCT2017-ARLET
- 1 item of 30SEP2017-ARLET
- 5 items of 02OCT2017-ARLET

- 3 items of 01OCT2017-ARLET
- 1 item of 30SEP2017-ARLET
- 5 items of 02OCT2017-ARLET
- 3 items of 01OCT2017-ARLET
