How to Receive Against an Order

This step-by-step guide describes how to receive pallets against a consignment order or purchase order transaction. This method is used when receiving inventory for non-Croptracker users. For receiving inventory from Croptracker users see How to Ship Against an Order and How to Create a Linked Transaction.

If you want to receive product from another Croptracker user you must instruct the other user to create a shipment for you. You cannot pull information from another Croptracker user in a receiving event. A receiving event will be automatically created with a linked transaction when the other user completes their shipment. See How to Ship Against an Order and How to Create a Linked Transaction for more information.
