On Boarding: Harvest Quality Vision Full Bin Test Scans

This document contains instructions and information on taking initial testing scans for on boarding Harvest Quality Vision. These scans will be used by Croptracker to ensure HQV is properly detecting and sizing.

Note:

When starting to use Harvest Quality Vision, it is important to practice scanning technique and get feedback from Croptracker on scan quality.

Test scans should be taken where scanning the regular workflow will happen.

Test scans should ideally represent the various lighting conditions under which scanning will happen.

If the crop type or variety being scanned in new to the Harvest Quality Vision system, more tests scans may be necessary.

Step by Step Instructions:

Set up an HQV Event for test scans as you would in your workflow.
1. Optionally specify the person taking the scan in the comment section if they are not the user associated with the account. This is helpful to provide feedback for training staff to scan. If the user taking the scan is already logged in, this information is already logged.
2. Optionally specify the size of the fruit being scanned. If pre-sized fruit is available for test scanning, specify the size of the fruit in the comment section.
Take a few scans within this event and upload to Croptraker.
Repeat this process to get a sampling of a few varieties and lighting conditions.
Notify Croptracker at support@croptracker.com to review and process the scans. This review process may take 1-2 weeks depending on the crop/variety being scanned.
