How to Set Up a Harvest Quality Vision Event

This document contains a how-to step by step guide on how to set up an Harvest Quality Vision (HQV) event on the Croptracker Mobile Application.

Creating an Harvest Quality Vision Event is necessary to be able to use the scanning feature. 

1. Login to the Mobile App on your compatible Android or iOS device.

2. Tap on the ‘Harvest Quality Vision’ module to access scan events.

3. Here you will find the list of Harvest Quality Vision scan events. Pull down on this page to refresh events and growing areas.

4. To create a new event, tap the ‘+' icon in the top right corner. To edit an existing event, simply tap on the event you would like to make changes to. This will take you to the event creation page.

To delete or archive an event tap the ‘’ icon on the desired event, then tap ‘Delete’ or 'Archive’.

 

5. In the ‘Event Details' section you can add a Lot Code, Harvest Location and Number of Units. Add a lot code by selecting ‘Type a lot code’ to enter a lot code manually, or 'Scan a lot code’ to scan in a lot code.

 

6. Tap on ‘Harvest Location’ to see the list of locations to select from, this list can be filtered using the search bar at the top of the screen.

 

7. Tap on ‘Number of Units’ to enter the number of bins these scans represent. On the Number of Units page, enter the number of units and select the relevant unit of measure.

 

8. Under the ‘Advanced’ section tap on the ‘Advanced’ drop down menu to add or edit Date/Time, Rooms, Categories, Weight Per Unit, Comments and Notes.

9. Tap on ‘Date/Time’ to bring up the date/time scroll and change the time as needed.

 

10. Tap on ‘Rooms’ to add a storage room. This list can be filtered using the search bar at the top of the Select Room screen.

 

11. Optionally, tap on ‘Categories’ to add categories to the event. From the list, select all categories that apply. This list can be filtered using the search bar at the top of the screen.

 

12. Optionally, tap on ‘Weight per Unit’ to enter the approximate weight of each unit.

 

13. Optionally, tap on ‘Comments’ and ‘Notes’ to add any additional information.

14. Lastly, you can add an inspection to the event by tapping ‘+ Add Inspection’.

15. Once all relevant information has been entered tap on ‘Start Scanning’ at the bottom of the screen to begin scanning.
