Setting Up a Production Practice Event (on the browser)

This document contains a how-to step by step guide on how to set up a Production Practice Event in the web browser. You will need the Production Practice module to access this feature.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Login to your Croptracker account using a browser window.

2. Select ‘New Production Practice’ from the menu on your dashboard or select ‘Record Production Practice’ from the growing dropdown menu.

3. Optionally title and select the status of this event

4. Select the start and end time from the calendar selector. (If you do not know the end time, you can leave it as is or change it when the event has been completed.)

5. Select the Activity you are recording from the dropdown menu.

Note: If you are setting up a Production Practice Event you intend to link to ‘piece-rate pay’, make sure to select an activity you have set up a piece-rate pay rate for. For more information on how to set up piece-rate pay see

6. Optionally select the relevant Categories and Equipment from the drop-down lists.

7. Hit Next at the bottom of the page to move to the ‘2. Where’ screen

8. Select the areas this event will be taking place in either using the map or from the list below by Farm/Block or Variety.

9. Hit Next at the bottom of the page to move to the last step ‘3. Confirm’

10. Add any ‘Comments’ or ‘Notes’ as needed and hit ‘Save’ when done. You will be taken back to the dashboard.
