Creating Harvest Classes

This document contains a how-to step by step guide on how to create Harvest Classes.

You will need the Harvest Quality Vision module to access this feature.

A Harvest Class is based on a size class and a colour class.

1. Login to your Croptracker account through your browser.

 

2. From the dashboard, click on the Harvest menu, then select ‘Harvest Classes’.

 

3. Click on the ‘+ Add Harvest Class’ button on the top right side to add a new Harvest Class.

 

4. Fill out the form by entering the name of the Harvest Class, a brief description, and selecting the crops and/or varieties that this class may apply to (see field breakdown below for more details).

Field Breakdown:

Harvest Class Name: This is the name that will be displayed on selections lists, reports, etc.

Harvest Class Description: This is an internal description of the class that is not displayed elsewhere.

Crops: Choose which crops this harvest class is limited to.  Reports will ignore other crops when using this class for reporting.

Varieties: Choose which varieties this harvest class is limited to.  Reports will ignore other varieties when using this class for reporting.  If choosing a Variety you may leave the Crop selection blank as it is implied.

Harvest Class Sizes: Select one or more Harvest Class Sizes represented by this class. 

Harvest Class Colors: Select one or more Harvest Class Colors represented by this class.

 

5. When finished click ‘Save’ on the top right side to save your Harvest Class.

With the Harvest Class recorded you will be able to:

  1. Select your Harvest Class in the inputs window

  2. Use this class to automatically classify scanned products in Harvest Quality Vision reports
