Storage on App: Scanning Inventory into Rooms

This step-by-step guide contains instructions for using the Storage module on the app to scan inventory into storage rooms. You will need the Storage module to access this feature.

This page will go over the work flow where inventory is scanned into rooms.

Instructions

1. Login to your Croptracker account on the app

2. Select ‘Storage’ from the Dashboard

 

3. A list of current storage events will appear on this screen. Tap on an event to edit it. To create a new storage event, tap the '+' button in the top right corner.

 

4. Optionally, tap on ‘Details’ to edit or change the details of the event including title, categories and comments.

 

5. Under the ‘Rooms’ tab, tap ‘Add Room’.

 

6. Select the Rooms being used for Storage in this event and tap the back arrow when done. Locations can be filtered by name using the bar at the top.

 

7. Tap on the desired Room on the event page.

 

8. From the Room screen, tap on the camera icon in the top right corner to begin scanning inventory tags.

 

9. Point the camera at the tag of the inventory you are storing to add it to the room.

 

10. Continue to scan/add inventory to this room as needed.

11. Tap the back arrow to return to the event screen. From here you can select different rooms to add inventory to as needed or return to the list of storage events.
