Irrigation events require blocks in your Field Map. See Field Maps for more information.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Navigate to the dashboard.

  2. Click the New Irrigation button. This will display the irrigation wizard to help guide you through recording an irrigation event.

  3. Under the 1. What step enter a Date for the irrigation event.

  4. Optionally select a Responsible Person.

  5. Enter the Irrigation Rate information in one of the three input areas:

  6. Enter an Initial Meter Reading and Final Meter Reading OR Irrigation Rate and Duration OR enter a Depth of Irrigation. The Depth of Irrigation will calculate the total volume of water based on the area of the selected blocks in the next step. The Meter Readings and Irrigation Rates calculate total volume separate from the areas of the selected blocks.

  7. Select an existing Permit / Source or add new by clicking Add a New Permit / Source.

    1. Clicking Add a New Permit / Source will display a window where you can create a new permit and new source, or add a source to an existing permit.

    2. Toggle the New Permit checkbox to add a new permit. Or leave unchecked and Select a Permit to add a new source to the selected permit.

    3. Enter the New Source Name and click Save.

  8. Click the Next button to continue to the 2. Where step.

  9. On the 2. Where step use the farm map or the checkboxes to select which blocks or varieties you wish to irrigate.

  10. Click the Next button to continue to the 3. Confirm step.

  11. Optionally enter any relevant Comments or Notes about this irrigation event.

  12. Confirm the Amount of water per block and enter any relevant Notes. You can also override the calculated Amount of water here if desired.

  13. Click the Save button.
