This document contains a how-to step by step guide on how to split pallets in the shipping module.

 📘 Instructions

  1. Navigate to the shipping module dropdown and select ‘Record Shipment'. For more information on how to create shipping events, see this documentation - How to Record Shipping

  2. Once you’ve created your shipping event and are ready to load product, find the pallets you are looking to ship in the ‘Available’ lane, select the ellipses and choose ‘Load Pallet’.

  3. Once you have loaded the pallet, you have the ability to split that pallet. To do this, find the pallet you want to split in the ‘Loaded’ lane, select the ellipses and choose ‘Split Pallet’.

  4. Once you have selected the ‘Split Pallet’, you will then be prompted to input the ‘Units’ and ‘Pallet Type’. These fields will populate the new pallet and remove that quantity from the original pallet.

  5. Once you’ve split this pallet, you are free to ‘Ship’ or ‘Unload’ these pallets.
