This document contains a step by step guide on how to identify conflicted worklogs and resolve any conflicts.
📘 Instructions
Navigate to Punch Clock Admin
Make sure to set the Status Filter to Active and Conflicted, also set the desired Date Range and select Apply Filter
If you have conflicted worklogs, you will see worklogs with the status code “Conflicted”. Often times the worklog is conflicted because of time overlap. In this scenario, the employee is punched in twice within the same timeframe.
4. You can then select “Edit” to view which worklog this is in direct conflict with. Once you have reached the edit page, find “Conflicting Worklogs”. This will give you a message detailing which worklog you are in direct conflict with and suggested actions. You can select the small button on the right of the worklog to edit the active worklog.
5. To solve these conflicted worklogs, you can either use the step above to change the times of the worklogs, or if these are duplicate worklogs, you can simply delete the worklog by changing the status in the edit menu to “Deleted”.
