This step-by-step guide describes how to create a shipping event.
Shipping events require available inventory to ship. Inventory (raw or packed) can be created in harvest, packing, field packing, repacking, and receiving events.
Step-By-Step Guide
- Navigate to the dashboard.
- Click the New Shipment button on the dashboard or in the main menu select Shipping → Record Shipment.
- Enter a Shipping Date.
- Optionally enter a Waybill No. if applicable.
- Optionally select a Responsible Person, Carrier, Truck, Trailer, Shipping Location, and Loading Bay.
- Optionally select a Customer and Destination. When a Customer is selected the Destination list limited to addresses belonging the to the select Customer. See How to Add Contact Addresses for more information.
- Optionally select a Temperature Type and enter a Low Temperature and High Temperature if applicable.
- Optionally enter any relevant Notes or Comments.
- Expand the advanced section for additional GAP records by clicking the Show/Hide Advanced button.
- Click the Save button.

- Click the Save and Ship Load to mark this event as shipped.
