This step-by-step guide describes how to create product lines on a transaction. A line item or product line is a quantity of a particular product to be sold, purchased, transferred, or returned for an agreed upon price. Line items are used to coordinate the sale, purchase, and/or movement of inventory between one or more suppliers/customers and Croptracker users.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Create a transaction. See Transactions for more information.
  2. Click the + Add Product button to add a new line item.
  3. Select a Product.
  4. Enter the Quantity.
  5. Optionally enter a Purchase Price. This is the base price for this line before adjustments are applied. See How to Create Transaction Adjustments for more information.
  6. Optionally enter Notes for this line.
  7. The line is automatically saved when modified. If the line is high-lighted in yellow try to click away from the line to trigger a save.
  8. Add additional lines as necessary.
