This step-by-step guide describes how to set up a Zebra ZQ520 mobile printer for field printing using the Android Mobile App.
Bluetooth Connection
If you haven't yet connected the mobile printer to your Android device, follow these steps:
Turn on the mobile printer.
On your Android device, navigate to the Bluetooth menu in the Settings app.
The name of your mobile printer should be on the list of available devices.
If it doesn't have a recognizable name, the printer's name may be its serial number.
If the printer is already paired to another device, you will need to unpair it for it to be discoverable by your device.
You can unpair a device on Android by tapping the settings icon next to the name of the mobile printer and selecting Unpair.
Tap the printer's name to attempt to connect.
If a pairing code appears on-screen, tap Ok, then, on the mobile printer, press the checkmark button.
If the connection was successful the printer should now appear under the My Devices column.
The printer should now appear in the list of mobile printers in the Android Mobile App.
Printer Configuration
To configure your Zebra printer on Android, download the Zebra Printer Setup Utility app from the Google Play Store.
Use the Zebra app to ensure your printer is set up properly and contact Zebra for support if you need support in their app.
Once you have successfully printed with the Zebra app, try to print in the Croptracker app. If you are able to print in the Zebra app and not in the Croptracker app, contact support@croptracker.com for help troubleshooting.
