How to Add a Data Provider

This step-by-step guide describes how to add a data provider to the system, which will deliver data to weather station inputs.
Data from a provider is automatically associated with the appropriate Weather Stations by the station's MAC Address. See How to Add a Weather Station for more information on how to set the MAC Address for a station.
Step-by-step guide
- Under the Farm Manager menu select Data Providers.
- Click Add Data Provider.
- Enter the Data Provider Label.
Select the Data Provider Type.
The Data Provider Type Details section will change depending on the provider type.- Enter the required information in the Data Provider Type Details section. This should be available from your provider.
- Confirm that the information is correct by clicking Test Connection. A message will appear stating whether the connection was successful.
- Click Save.
