How to change a user's preferences

This how-to article describes how to modify an existing user's preferences, such as their local time zone, whether to use imperial or metric units, or whether to receive email alerts.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Navigate to Farm Manager → User Admin.
  2. Click Edit under the actions menu for the user whose preferences you would like to change.
  3. This will bring you to the Edit page for this user. You can also set a new user's preferences when you create their account. See How to add more users for more information.
  4. Find the User Preferences section of the page.
  5. Change the user's preferences. See Preferences for more information on what each preference controls.
  6. Click Save to apply your changes.
