This step-by-step guide describes how to create a pallet using the Pallet Modal.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Create a packing, receiving, or repacking event. See How to Pack a Pallet, How to Receive a Pallet, and How to Repack a Pallet for more information.

  2. Click the + Add Pallets button to open the Pallet Modal.

  3. Enter the Packed Date for the pallet.

  4. Select the Product you wish to pack.

  5. Enter the Total Units, the Units Per Pallet, and/or the Number of Pallets you wish to pack. Entering two of the three values here will automatically calculate the third. Ultimately pallets are created based on the Total Units and Units Per Pallet fields. Left over units will be added to the final pallet.

  6. Optionally select a Supplier or add one by clicking the + Add New Contact button.

  7. Enter a Lot No. If this pallet is being created in the context of a packing event then the packing event's Lot No. will be pre-entered for you here.

  8. Select a Label type for printing. See Pallet Labels more more information.

  9. Optionally select a Pallet Type.

  10. Optionally enter any relevant Notes about this pallet.

  11. Click the Save button to create your pallet(s).

  12. Click the Save & Print button to create your pallet(s) and print their tags.

  13. Click the Save & Print Master Tags to create your pallet(s) and print a tag for each master.
