📘 Lot Code Option
Linking scans to inventory in HQV stand-alone (as opposed to HQV with harvest tracking) is normally done using the lot code field during event set up.

To allow for faster and less error prone inventory linking, Croptracker has enabled bar code scanning into the lot field. This will allow the user to means you can scan a bin tag or inventory barcode to populate the lot code field.

Once a barcode is scanned, the Lot Code field will be filled in automatically.

Croptracker has also enabled a search by scan code function on the HQV event list so it is easy to find and add to HQV events as needed.
Clicking the scan icon on the event list will launch the camera app to allow for bar code scanning.
