This step-by-step guide describes how to receive harvest inventory (raw product) in a receiving event.

  2. At the bottom of the receiving edit form are two lanes labeled Loaded and Unloaded. The Loaded lanes

  1. show inventory currently loaded on the truck, in transit or at the dock. The Unloaded lane lists inventory that has been unloaded and potentially stored, packed, etc. Click the Add Inventory button in whichever context is appropriate for your case. Inventory that is loaded on a truck is not considered available and will not appear on any inventory reports.

  2. Enter a Harvest Date.

  3. Enter an Amount and select a unit.

  4. Optionally enter a Unit Weight or Total Weight. These data points are used for yield calculation by weight.

  5. Optionally enter a Size.

  6. Select or add a Block for the supplier. This data point is used for traceability purposes.

  7. Enter or Tracking Code. You can also generate a Tracking Code by clicking the tag icon to the right of the input. See Tracking Codes for more information.

  8. Optionally enter any relevant Notes about the harvest inventory.

  9. Select a Tag Format and Tag Option.

  10. If Multiple is selected as the Tag Option specify the number of Units Per Label. This will decide how many labels to print for this entry (e.g. 5 units with 2 units per label will print 3 labels: 2,2,1).

  11. Click the Save button to save the harvest inventory.

  12. Click the Save & Print button the save the harvest inventory and print the labels.
