This document will cover the Harvest Quality Vision feature that allows for lot code information to be scanned into an event and how to search events via scan.

Linking scans in to inventory in HQV stand-alone (as opposed to HQV with harvest tracking) is normally done using the lot code field during event set up.

In order to allow for faster and less error prone inventory linking, Croptracker has enabled bar code scanning into the lot field. This will allow the user to scan a bin tag or inventory barcode to populate the lot code field. Clicking on the scan icon will open the camera app to allow for bar code scanning.

Croptracker has also enabled a search by scan code function on the HQV event list so it is easy to find and add to HQV events as needed. Clicking the scan icon on the event list will launch the camera app to allow for bar code scanning. When the code is scanned, the relevant event will open right away for editing or adding scans.
