  1. On your Android device, open the Croptracker app and log in. 
  2. From the dashboard, select the Field Pack option.; Here you'll see a list of all existing field pack events. 
  3. At the top of the list, select Tap to create a new field pack event...
  4. Select a date Date, enter the Lot numberNumber, select one or more products Products, and specify which blocks Blocks you're field packing in. Record any food safety information, add any notes or comments, and tap Save and continue to pallets.
  5. Here you'll see the list of pallets you've created in this Field Pack event. Note: to get back to the list from the field back event list, tap the Options dropdown next to your event and select Pallets
  6. Next to the appropriate product header, tap the New Pallet button, then select how many pallets you want to create.
  7. Now that you have some the empty pallets ready, its time to start prepared you can proceed to creating masters.

Creating Masters

From here you You have two options for creating masters depending on which workflow you're following:

Scanning - Detailed & Streamlined Fieldpack Field Pack Workflows:

  1. From the Field Pack event's pallet listPallet List, open the context menu in the top right corner and select Scan Master Tags.
  2. When an employee brings up a new master , use the camera to scan the QR code on either the master tag or the reusable tagthe Master Tag or Reusable Tag (again, depending on your workflow). 
  3. The app will beep when the tag is scanned, and the tag's code will appear next to the Master Tag label.
  4. Select which pallet Pallet this master is going on, which block Block it came from, and either scan the employee's badge or select the employee the Employee from the list. Then tap  
  5. Tap Save Master to finish

Manual entry (internet connection required) - Bulk Checkout Fieldpack Field Pack Workflow:

  1. From the Field Pack event's pallet listPallet List, open the context menu in the top right corner and select Scan Master Tags
  2. On the scanning screen, tap the List icon in the top right corner (next to the QR Code icon).
  3. Select a product Product and a styleStyle, then enter how many masters you want to create. 
  4. Specify which pallet Pallet these masters are going on, which block Block they came from, and optionally which employee Employee picked the masters.
  5. Tap Save Master to finish.

 

Notes on syncing scanned masters

  1. Since the internet connection out in the field may be slow or intermittent , the app does not upload sync the scanned master to Croptracker immediately when you click upon clicking Save Master - and is instead the master is saved directly locally to your phonedevice.
  2. Every minute the app will automatically automatically attempt to sync and upload the scanned masters up to Croptracker.
  3. To manually trigger an uploadsync, navigate to the pallet list Pallet List for this field pack event and select Sync Masters from the context menu in the top right corner.
  4. Alternatively, Optionally you can tap on an individual pallet (or select View Masters from the pallet's Options dropdown), to pallet to view a summary of this pallet, its masters , and their sync status (or use View Masters from a pallet's options dropdown).
  5. The Synced Masters list will display which masters have been successfully synced and uploaded for this a pallet. 
  6. The Unsyced Unsynced Masters list will display any masters that still need to be synced. This is also where any sync related errors will be displayed.
