This article describes how to use the Punch Clock's Kiosk mode to set up a stationary tablet where employees can badge themselves in and out.
- Log in to the Croptracker mobile app on your Android or iOS device.
- On the dashboard, select the Punch Clock option from the list.
- Tap the Kiosk Mode option on the Punch Clock menu.
- The app will use the front facing camera by default, but the option to toggle cameras is available from the camera icon in the top right corner.
- Employees then simply scan their badge and the system will automatically punch them in or out - no user input is required.
- If an employee badge doesn't scan (dirty, lost, camera issue, etc), employees can manually enter their employee number from the menu in the top right corner (Android-only).
- Note: while on this screen, the app will prevent the tablet screen from dimming or falling asleep.
