Replant or Double Cropping Maps

This article describes how to use the 'Re-Plant' feature of blocks in Croptracker.

You may need to re-plant a block when you rotate a crop on a field, or if you remove trees or plants from a block, or make other significant changes to the crop, variety, planting date, or growing area.  By using the 'Re-Planting' feature, you will keep all of your old records intact against the old crop in the field you are replanting.

Step-by-step guide

Once logged in:

  1. Navigate to the 'Farm Manager → Field Maps' using the menu in the upper right of the website

  2. Locate the block in your list that you wish to replant.

  3. Using the menu in the 'Actions' column from the row containing the block you want to replant select 'Re-Plant Block'

  4. This will create a copy of all of the block data, including the associated map if you have created one.

  5. Now edit the newly replanted block and make any changes

  6. Save the block, and then make any necessary changes to the map.

Replanting a block will help you maintain your old records against the previous crops grown on the replanted Block / Field.
