How to Scan Inventory and Pallets Against Transactions (App)

This article demonstrates the steps to scan inventory against transactions/orders using the Croptracker mobile app.

Requirements:

  • Shipping (mobile)

Prerequisites:

  • The user has created a transaction and has pallets available to ship gainst the transaction

  • The user has printed one or more pallet tags to be scanned

  1. Log in to the Croptracker app and navigate to Shipping

  1. From the Shipping Events screen tap the + button in the upper right corner to create a new Shipping Event

  1. Tap the Load tab to view the transactions on the Event.

  2. Tap + Attach Transaction to add a new one to the Event

  1. Tap the transaction from the list to attach it to the Shipping Event

  1. Tap anyhwere on the Sales Order to begin loading inventory/pallets against it

  1. Tap the button Scan Harvest or Pallet Tag to begin scanning tags

  1. Scan the tag’s barcode or QR code to load it against the transaction

  1. The transaction should now show the current product count against the order

  2. Tap the back arrow to go back to the Event view

  1. On the Shipping Events list tap the three dots next to Shipping Event to bring up the actions menu, and then tap Ship to complete the transaction

  • Other items in this actions menu include:

    • Edit: edit the Shipping Event

    • Archive: hide the Shipping Event from the mobile app list

    • Delete: remove the Shipping Event from the system

Be sure to remove items from the Shipping Event prior to deleting the event
