How to scan Field Pack Masters on the app: Camera
This document contains a step by step guide on how to scan masters in a field pack event using the device’s built-in camera. You will need the Field Pack module to access this feature.

Instructions
Log in to the Mobile App on your compatible Android or iOS device.
Tap the Field Pack option on the dashboard.
Tap on the event you’d like to add pallets to.
Tap on the Pallets tab. This screen shows the list of pallets that are already in the event. You need at least 1 pallet to get started creating masters.
Tap on the icon in the top right corner to launch the Scan Masters screen.
Alternatively, tap on one of the pallets in the list.
The pallet with the lowest unit count will be automatically selected. Tap on the Pallet field to change it.
The first block or row in the event will be automatically selected. Tap on the Where field to change it.
Tap the Scan button to launch the camera.
Hold the employee’s badge in front of the camera until the app makes a beep noise.
Hold the master tag in front of the camera until the app makes a beep noise.
The master is now created, attributed to the employee whose badge was scanned.
To scan another master tag against this same employee:
You do not need to re-scan the employee’s badge.
Simply hold another master tag in front of the camera. When the app beeps, another master is created, attributed to same the employee. Repeat for each master picked by this employee.
To scan another master tag against a different employee:
First scan the other employee’s badge, ensuring the app beeps in confirmation.
Then scan the master tag. The master is now created, attributed against this different employee.
Scanner cooldown & reusable master tags
A tag must be out of the camera’s view for at least 2 seconds before it will be picked up again as a second scan.
When the pallet you’re scanning onto reaches capacity, the app will prompt you to make a new empty pallet. This feature requires that the product you’re packing has the Units Per Pallet field set. See How to Add a Product to learn more.
