How to Attach a Purchase Order to Raw inventory in Receiving

This document contains a step by step guide on how to attach a purchase order to raw inventory in receiving You will need the Recieving and Order Desk modules to access this feature.

Instructions
Login into your Croptracker account on the web.
You will have to either have an existing Purchase Order you are looking to attach inventory to or create a new Purchase order by following steps: How to Create a Purchase Order
Create a new receiving event or navigate to an existing one. Here is how to create a new receiving event: How to Record Receiving
Above the loaded and unloaded lanes, you will see a section where it says Add Transaction To This Event click on it and select the purchase order you are looking to attached to the raw inventory.
Make sure the checkbox next to the purchase is checked - this will indicate that you plan to associate inventory with the transaction.
Create inventory in the unloaded lane - How to Receive Harvest Inventory
You will see the transaction appear on the inventory card which means that you have successfully linked the inventory to the transaction.
