Instructions
Begin by logging into the Croptracker app on your mobile device.
Choose “Crop Load Vision” on the Dashboard.
Choose “Pre-Harvest Fruit Count”.
To start counting in a block for the day, press “New Event” at the bottom.
Choose the growing area where you’ll be counting. You can shortlist by name or variety at the top.
Wait for the camera to appear.
Stand 1.5 - 3 feet away from the tree.
Point the camera at a piece of fruit on the tree and wait for it to turn blue.
You may need to get closer to pick up smaller fruit - 1 to 2 feet.
9. Move the camera around the tree, paying attention to screen and moving at a pace that allows the fruit to be detected by the camera.
A.) See example videos below:

B.) Tips:
Start scanning a few feet away to help the app get its bearings.
Adjust the camera angle from side to side while keeping the camera view perpendicular to the tree.
It may take a moment for the fruit to turn blue once it’s in view.
You can use your other hand to move leaves out of the way but take care to not move fruit as this may affect the count.
If you're having trouble getting fruit from far away, try adjusting the distance slider under Advanced > Max Distance.
If the app isn’t picking up fruit that it should, try reducing the confidence slider under Advanced > Confidence.
When you’ve counted enough fruit, press the green Save button at the bottom to finish.
The app will ask how much of the tree you scanned. Adjust the number based on your view of the screen and the tree in front of you. Assess how much of the total fruit you can see the camera was able to detect. Enter the percent scanned and tap Save.
To scan another tree, tap “Add Tree” at the bottom.
