Storage on App: Scanning Inventory into Rooms

This step-by-step guide contains instructions for using the Storage module on the app to scan inventory into storage rooms. You will need the Storage module to access this feature.

This page will go over the work flow where inventory is scanned into rooms.
Instructions
1. Login to your Croptracker account on the app
2. Select āStorageā from the Dashboard

3. A list of current storage events will appear on this screen. Tap on an event to edit it. To create a new storage event, tap the '+' button in the top right corner.

4. Optionally, tap on āDetailsā to edit or change the details of the event including title, categories and comments.

5. Under the āRoomsā tab, tap āAdd Roomā.

6. Select the Rooms being used for Storage in this event and tap the back arrow when done. Locations can be filtered by name using the bar at the top.

7. Tap on the desired Room on the event page.

8. From the Room screen, tap on the camera icon in the top right corner to begin scanning inventory tags.
If the inventory tag that cannot be scanned, you can add the inventory to this room by tapping on the '+' plus button in the top right corner and selecting the inventory from the full list of the available inventory in your account.

9. Point the camera at the tag of the inventory you are storing to add it to the room.
Inventory tags CANNOT be scanned into the same room twice, but CAN be scanned into another room. If you scanned a label into the wrong room or inventory is moving rooms, you can scan or select already stored inventory to move it to the right room.

10. Continue to scan/add inventory to this room as needed.
11. Tap the back arrow to return to the event screen. From here you can select different rooms to add inventory to as needed or return to the list of storage events.
