This step-by-step guide describes the how to record a harvest event and inputs using the Mobile App.

This document contains a how-to step by step guide on how to record a harvest using the mobile app.
You will need the Harvest module to access this feature.

Harvest Event Set-Up

Log in to the Mobile App on your compatible Android or iOS device. Instructions can be found here

Tap the Harvest option from the list.

Tap the + button at the top of your screen this button will create a new Harvest event. This is similar to making a new Harvest event on your web browser: How to Record a Harvest

Once you are in the blank Harvest event, tap the Start Date for the event to change the date if required. You can optionally set an End Date.

Next tap Title and enter the name you would like to call this event

Select the blocks you are harvesting by tapping the blocks category, underneath Where, you can anywhere on the line. If a block has not been selected it will say Please choose on the right side. This will take you to the list of blocks that you have created.

If you have quite a few blocks, use the Filter search bar when in the list of blocks. Type the name of the block, crop type, or the crop variety in the text field at the top to quickly filter this list.

When you find the correct blocks, tap the checkbox on the right side of the screen. Tap all the blocks that you need.

Once you are done, hit the back arrow on the top left of the screen. Your blocks are automatically saved. You will be taken back to the harvest event and show the number of blocks you have selected.

A default tracking code based on the day. Or type in your, and block will be generated. To make own tracking codes tap the line that you want to change, then you can type in your own tracking code.

If you wish to reset the tracking code to the default, tap Reset for the specific block's tracking code you wish to reset.

You can use Comments or Notes for your own documentation, this can include the Area Harvested (if different from the calculated value), Packing MaterialsResponsible PersonResponsible Person Assessed Site (may be applicable to certain reports) and any other applicable text you wish to enter. Split the information you need to record up in comments and notes as you need.

When finished tap Done in the top right corner.

You can then proceed to the Record Harvest Input instructions.

Record Harvest Inputs

Follow these steps for each load as it arrives into your processing or storage facility:

  1. Tap the + at the top of the screen to create a new harvest input. This will bring up a list of the blocks you have earmarked in this event.
  2. Tap the block for which this load is from.
  3. Under the Volume section: Enter the Volume for this load. Specify the type of container in the Units dropdown.
  4. Under the Weight section: Enter the weight in the Per Container input. Specify the weight unit type in the Units dropdown.
  5. Optionally enter any size information, storage information, or work crew.
  6. Select your Label Format in the dropdown under the Label section.
  7. Select your Label Printer.

  8. When finished tap the SAVE button.
