There are 2 basic approaches to enter entering your mixed block data into they the system.
Striped Block Method - Combine all the rows of the same variety in an area and call it a single block.
Row Variety Method - Add the block and enter the rows of each variety individually.
Each of these approaches is described in more detail below.
Striped Block Method
This is probably the preferred method for a few reasons - you likely treat, harvest, and otherwise work all of the rows of the same variety within a block the same way at the same time. This method just asks you to break your larger block - Block A for example, into smaller blocks - Block A Gala, Block A Honeycrisp, etc. If you opt to draw the shape of these blocks on the map, you simply create an outline of each set of rows within the block - this is why this method is referred to as the striped block method.
Step-by-step guide
Enter one block per variety. Follow How to Add Your Map to add a block and How to Draw Your Map to draw a block
Row Variety Method
Step-by-step guide
Add your block as usual, following the How to Draw Your Maps.
Navigate back to the field map, and use the drop-down next to the block you just created to select add row. Add in as many rows as you have in that one block.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each block you have. Your individual rows will now show up under your block in the farm manager, and can be individually selected in events as needed.
