There are 2 basic approaches to enter your mixed block data into they system.

  1. Striped Block Method - Combine all the rows of the same variety in an area and call it a single block.
  2. Row Variety Method - Add the block and enter the rows of each variety individually.

Striped Block Method

This is probably the preferred method for a few reasons - you likely treat, harvest, and otherwise work all of the rows of the same variety within a block the same way at the same time.  This method just asks you to break your larger block - Block A for example, into smaller blocks - Block A Gala, Block A Honeycrisp, etc.  If you opt to draw the shape of these blocks on the map, you simply create an outline of each set of rows within the block - this is why this method is referred to as the striped block method.
